Msgr. Joseph Schaedel

Msgr. Joseph Schaedel is the Vicar General/Moderator of the Curia for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis is our Mass celebrant and homilist. Since his ordination in 1982, Msgr. Schaedel has served as an associate pastor at several parishes in the archdiocese and at Cardinal Ritter Jr./Sr, High School, Indianapolis where he was named the school's first president in 1991. He also serves as the pastor of Holy Rosary parish, Indianapolis, Director of the Propogation of the Faith, Holy Childhood Association, and Catholic Relief Services for the archdiocese, and on several boards and councils.
 
Mother Assumpta Long

Mother Mary Assumpta Long, O.P., is the Prioress General of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She holds a S.T.L. in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. She has taught at the elementary, secondary and junior college levels, and served as President of Aquinas Junior College in Nashville, Tennessee. Mother Assumpta is a former President of the Forum of Major Superiors, and was invited by John Cardinal O’Connor to assist with the initial formation of the Sisters of Life in New York. She currently serves on the Board of Regents for Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida.

The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist was founded in 1997 by Mother Assumpta and three other Dominican sisters; the community has experienced phenomenal growth, expanding from four to 99 sisters in twelve years. The community’s primary apostolate is Catholic education in the spirit of the New Evangelization; fully Dominican in spirituality, the two distinguishing marks of the community’s charism are devotion to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and total consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She currently serves on the Board of Regents for Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida.  She also recently has been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
 
Barbara McGuigan

Inspired by the clear, unchanging teachings of the Catholic Faith about the human person and our purpose in life, and motivated by love of young people, Barbara McGuigan founded Voice of Virtue International in 2001. But her work with youth began long before this. For more than 23 years, Barbara has delivered the message of virtuous living and loving to countless teens in high schools, youth groups, retreats, teen leadership seminars, and conferences, as well as to countless educators and parents at conferences, speaking engagements, leadership and teacher seminars, and many other venues.

Barbara has trained more than 1000 teachers, spoken to more than 30,000 teens, young adults and women, and given more than 200 retreats and more than 700 keynotes, talks and presentations, in North America, Australia, New Zealandand Europe. And her audiences always beg for more!
Barbara is radio host to EWTN's Open Line and the Good Fight.
 
Terry Polakovic

Terry Polakovic is the Co-Founder, Executive Director, and Chief Editor of ENDOW (an
acronym for Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women), which is a Catholic educational organization. ENDOW brings women together to discover their God-given dignity and to understand their role in humanizing and transforming society. Utilizing small study groups, conferences and retreats, ENDOW cultivates faith, fellowship, and formation among women. Founded in 2003, ENDOW has grown from an idea into an international women's ministry. In the past seven years, over 6,500 women have participated in the ENDOW program, making it one of the fastest growing Catholic educational programs in the world today.

Terry has spent nearly 25 years working in the non-profit arena in the areas of management, fundraising, and volunteer coordination. Prior to founding ENDOW, Terry was the Chief Executive Officer of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust for the Archdiocese of Denver. In addition to leading ENDOW, Terry has served as a board member for numerous non-profit organizations. She is currently serving as a trustee for The Catholic Foundation for the Roman Catholic Church in Northern Colorado and is also a member of the Leadership Council for the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center in Boulder, Colorado.

Terry and her husband, Mike, have two young adult children. Terry enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and exercising.
